There's a great new, free weekly music paper out on the streets of Auckland. It's called VOLUME. Facebook users can visit them here - http://www.facebook.com/volumemag
You can check out Volume issue 003 online here - http://issuu.com/apnmediaservices/docs/ ... ode=window
Everyone else can pick one up at most music related stores around Auckland.
They're keen to hear from us about whatever you guys are up to so, if you've got band news, gigs or events, flick us an email at themanor@stackstudios.co.nz and we'll pass it on to them.

Nah I'm not involved at all. I advertise with them and their office is next door. Good old John Baker is involved and we've known each other since the earliest Manor days. He's been nagging me to send news cos obviously, all the really good bands rehearse at the The Manor.
I just like the style of the paper. It's reminiscent of the early Rip It Up. Which means unpretentious, current and relevant.
Hehehe I don't think we'll be seeing any gear reviews in there. I think they're more interested in what you do, not what you got (or what you wish you had)
Anyways, I figured it's a great vehicle for any NZG musicians to put news through there. Make of it what you will.

Sounds superb. Let John know I think he's a top chap.
