Personally, I feel that the advertisers here people and companies I would personally recommend as great people selling great products and they are definitely people I have the greatest respect for. The ones that aren't don't last long - hence Muzakthangs banner lasted less than a month.
As you rightly say, the advertisers don't spam as they tend to be people with integrity - though they have their own section called 'updates'.
I've explained all of this to sam till I'm blue in the face but he chose to ignore it - Classifieds is for people who want to sell the odd piece of gear, not for someone who is in the business or part-time business of importing guitars to on-sell. If thats what you want to do, start up your own site and do it.
I've decided to ban him anyway as the conflict was obviously going to carry on despite my being very lenient in the past.
As for free speech - its about to banned politically anyway....
