Guitarist wanted - Hokianga/Northland

Post by HANGMAN »

Hey yas, I'm just putting this out there way in advance, on the slim off chance that someones lurking in the Hokianga/Northland area and keen to get involved...

I'm currently in Dunedin but moving to the Hokianga area in January and I've started a new Country/Rockabilly/Blues mainly covers project with the intention of getting it banging live in 2012. The idea is not to simply play standard country/ rock n roll covers but to adapt songs from other styles into that style (for a point of difference and a bit of creative fun!).

Anyway, feel free to check out these links for a ballpark idea of where I'm coming from!

I used to live (if one can actually say live, when talking about Northland) in Dargaville, is that close enough?

Mind you that was in 1953....

Hell yeah, speed has been around for well over 100 years, it was nothing like the crazy shit we have these days tho', standard for soldiers were using it around / after WWI, plus it was often prescribed as a diet pill in the 60s and 70s...
