Covers band for a Wedding in the Coromandel
Hi Guy's,
Just putting the feelers out there to see if there's any bands in the Coromandel area or willing to travel there for a Wedding gig?
Nothing is booked in yet and there may be a twist... I might do a few numbers with them Looking at March 2017? but that change.
If anyone has any links for sites or anything I can have a listen too that would be great.
A variety of catchy upbeat stuff would be good, something to keep everyone up dancing.
Cheers

I'm in two bands that play up that way.
But the 17th? Thursday?

Ha! 2017... sorry that wasn't very specific. There is possibility of it being a Friday Wedding though?GrantB wrote:I'm in two bands that play up that way.

Why don't you just get a DJ? They've got heaps more songs that you can chose from, the songs will sound just like they do on the cd, which is way better than a band trying to sound like the real band, DJ booths add a touch of class to the look of the wedding, and lots of DJ's have cool lights like disco balls and stuff. I've also found it hard to find a band that can play the chicken dance, whereas a good DJ will play the chicken dance song at least three times, more times if you've got grandma's that want to dance. It's a no brainer really.

Well... if any of that occurs I'll keep the band booked and just pay them to let me play?... in an empty room, but with a great view and well dressed tables.willow13 wrote:yeah, you never know what she could get up to ....
