Hey there,

You may have filled this already but thought I'd drop a line and see anyway. I've just posted an Ad on Gumtree myself as follows:

Guitarist/Vocalist seeks Diverse Covers band.
Very well experienced guitarist/vocalist looking preferably to join an established working covers band. Versatile with a love of all styles and genres, everything from Robbie Williams, Beatles, Hendrix, Marley, Peter Andre, Eagles, KC & the Sunshine band, The Knack, Deep Purple, Inner Circle, Dragon, through to Matchbox 20, Smashmouth, Chilli's, Rage, Pantera, Nirvana, Ben Harper, Pearl Jam, and even Eminem, Nelly, Crazytown and a few other assorted hip hop covers that most cover bands won't touch or can't make work. Obviously I'm into a bit of everything so please don't contact me if you only want to play Reggae covers or similar. Otherwise drop me a line, gareth@value.net.nz or 021353929, cheers guys :)

Might hear from you if you're interested. All the best.
G.

I would be madly interested as I have a lot of experience at playing covers from that era with a female lead vocalist and I'm good at singing harmonies. Only problem is that I'm in Whangarei. If you can see a way of making that work and can be bothered, flick me a PM.

Oops, just saw the date of the original post. Are you still looking Scarecrow?

Kinda put onto hiatus, ended up getting a band together for one charity gig, which went quite well. May consider another gig in the future, but nothing foreseeable.

All good, thanks anyway scarecrow. Please feel free to pass my details on to anyone else who might be interested. I can also sing some lead vocals (depends on the song) as well as doing back ups and harmonies etc. Cheers mate.
