Backline in Wellington

Post by sambrowne »

Hi guys,

I need a Marshall JCM900 and Mesa Recto in Wellington for our gig on thursday. What's the best bet for hiring backline in Welly?

Cheers

Hey bro,

Try a guy named Ritesh. Don't have his contact in front of me but I'm sure you can track him down easy enough.

If you do have it cheaper mate, I am all ears. Turns out backline hire is surprisingly expensive...

or you could drive down in your new car, and take the amps with you? Be cheaper?

Sorry it didn't work out for you. I have no real idea how his prices sit in the scheme of things of course, not having my own Lear jet etc, but he seems to get a decent amount of work and often from international acts so I would have thought they would be reasonable.

Fair enough I guess Ed, post changed accordingly. Maybe he'll be open to negotiating a bit.
