Who needs a guitar player in about a month?

I'm now going to become one of those people who doesn't state the location for their ad... cos you know, it has to be... Auckland.

I've finally got a start date for my new job - second week of April. I'd like to try and get some band stuff running asap to hit the ground running once I'm there! So if you know of a good, working covers band who are in need of a guitar player or singer, please let me know. I'm decent on guitar, and my vocal range can probably cover most of your standard pub hits, and though I love my 80s rock, I have no shame in singing pop songs :D

I've got good gig-worthy gear, as well as vocal gear including mics, stands, mixer, active 15" wedge.

Am easy to work with and (mostly) not a douchebag. You need to be at least a little bit of a douchebag to play lead guitar :lol:

So yeah, if you guys hear anything on the grapevine, please feel free to pass my name on. I'll also be looking for guitar, bass and drums for my originals project, but I might wait till I know a few more people in that scene once I get there.

I would like to add that Ed is a liar. 'Decent on guitar' my ass, he's an excellent player.
