Guitarist, about to move to Hamilton.

Post by Marty96 »

Hi guys
I'm shortly about to move to Hamilton for study, and am looking for any opportunities musically in terms of bands or anyone looking for a session musician. I'm currently in New Plymouth, and experienced in the Pop-rock, Jazz, Funk, and ambient genres. I'm unlikely to have much free time during the year but certainly need to keep it up so if anyone is interested please let me know!
Cheers

Welcome to Hamilton! Crazy how people think a move from New Plymouth to Hams is a downgrade - you may be pleasantly surprised. Been all around the world and quite like my liddol Hammys.

PS when you say "ambient" - how so? I know a thing or 2 about ambienting in Hamilton :)

Don't believe you. Who could possibly think that? :wtf:
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I haven't bought a car from hamilton yet, but the bookshop had what I wanted. Also it has a japanese place which is pretty good.
New plymouth had a post office that was shut on a weekday, and lots of pigs about.
