I've been back in NZ for a year and a bit, playing guitar again for 6 months or so after a decade's break (7 years in Vietnam, devoted all my spare time to eastern bloc motorbikes and other obscure stuff, too sweaty to play guitar...). I guess I'm intermediate. Guess I'm also a bit lonely.
My wife and I quite enjoy NZ, but it has been difficult making friends, especially due to the lockdowns. Kiwis are super nice but also the biggest flakes on earth.
Does anyone want to come over and jam or just hang some time? I can play at decent volumes at my new place.
blues, jangles, rock n roll, rockabilly

Re: Auckland friends
Whereabouts are you? Probably having another beer session shortly then maybe even another gearfest if I can find a suitable venue, last one was just too small. Its a good way to meet everyone.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Just abstain until we have had the gearfest. Should be no problem...
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.
