Yup! Totally digging how they translate after years of SM57s. The ambient mic thing works really well too - really helped capture what the amp in the room sounded like.

I may bring the Marshall over sometime to try out those KT77 tubes....will be in touch : )

You know, when I hear and see playing like that I don't care about the gear he's using.
What a great touch - the man is seriously musical. Its got an amazing blues rock with a hint of Indian feel to it. You're a bloody genius Mate!

Always a pleasure to listen to your playing, so melodic... wish I'd had the chance to come around for another jam, but just the one was enough to have a huge impact on my playing.

Very nice recording too, sounds awesome.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Haha thanks Ash. The funny bit is the guitar stand is in the pedaltrain case on the right, all neatly folded up in its black-and-yellow compactness!

Yeayaah, finally got to see the whole thing leter last night...a whole lot of awesome.

That set up is a whole lot of awesome too from the gat all the was to the mic pre...envious is I...much

Whats a good mic for a bass? would the heil manage it? the stats say it picks up from 40hz which to me suggests it would do the job.

Cheers
