Started work on an original for our surf guitar band.
Thought i'd do something festive
This is a demo Im calling this "Christmas in Kabul".
Its pretty rough, but gives you guys who were asking and idea of what sort of music we are doing.
Tumble-weed tele, MIJ jag both bia the 6g15 reverb unit and mic with a CAD d80
The bass is a 70s p bass DI'd from GK 750 rb head
Everything is via focusrite i2i4 into reaper.
Minimal post recording fiddling.
The drums are just a free loop from the net.
Thanks for listening
Did some recording this morning

Re: Did some recording this morning
Very cool but not sure how it relates to Christmas in Kabul.
However, sound cloud continued playing and I found myself listening to "Don't forget I love you". Is this one of your originals?
I really liked it. The harmonies are great and I was imagining if it was being sung by John Lennon it could have been an early Beatles song. Ending I found typical Beatles.
Love it.

When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Very influenced by Beatles in my earlier years.
