Yay for hair metal! :-p

Post by Tsuken »

Well, along the line of things I wrote earlier, herewith my hair metal effort (20 years too late, but who's counting? :P ). No vocals on this one; the lyrics weren't mine, and I've gone off them, so I need to write new ones. ;)

I did rewrite the music slightly over the weekend, making the solo happen over a half-time variation of the verse chords (played with some bizarre position-shifting in the interests of letting notes ring together)

And before anyone mentions it, yes I know the second guitar in the solo comes in at a weird time. :P At the risk of sounding like a boy band; I want it that way. ;)

Ok, redone ... again :P

Different lead tones, better first half of the solo. Better bass, and a chunka-chunka bit played on Jenna ;)

Cool stuff, Tsuken.

Being a fan of hair metal, you might enjoy some stuff by a band my mate's in called Bang Camaro.

They have a selection of songs to listen to online:

Different lead tone = better lead tone on this one I think 8) A nice advertisment for Cruiser pickups ;)

Very cool chord changes as well. Looking forward to the next version, with vocals :)

Cheers man. 8)

Trying not to think about vocals at this point, as I would need to make lots of volume to produce hair metal vocals :| And I can't really do that at home.
