You Gotta Move

Post by Polar Bear »

Heyo

This is my take on an old blues number, you gotta move. I've sort of tried to record it like a three act play. It went ok. :)

nerdy Gear and tone questions upon request.

Very cool indeed 8)

So what was the nerdy gear and tone line up? I hope you didn't flatten walls by running your AC30 at recording volume  Did you play drums on that as well?

Nerdy Gear details were as follows

The AC30 was running through it's power soak at it's full capacity, which is 40% power.

For the dirty bits, (oo-er) I put a tubescreamer in front of the brilliant channel.

All the rhythm guitars are the Ibanez Les Paul that I am currently trying to sell.

All the widdly bits are my Epi Dot.

Bass was my Yamaha through my flatmates Yamaha Modelling head, straight into Garageband.

The Drums were also me, yes.

All instruments are real and recorded by me, using an Sm58 or an AKG D880.

Fun times!!
