anyone know who played bass on the Grease soundtrack, I know peter frampton played guitar.,., anyone know?

A session bassist ... Mike Porcaro?

There were quite a few bassist credited for the album.

Mike Porcaro is a heavy-duty session bassist and one of the famous Porcaro brothers, of Toto fame (and sons of percussionist Joe Porcaro), though he wasnâ€™t Totoâ€™s original bassist. Beyond Toto, and among many other things, he played bass on some of Kissâ€™s album tracks, instead of Gene Simmons, but often wasnâ€™t duly credited.
