anyone know anyone who wants a good cheapy?

I went a bit mental buying every good cheap bass I could find.

anyway: I have an LTD Viper 104, with an emg and single volume pot $200 (you can have the original electronics if you need a stock instrument)
or a Sterling Ray 4 with emg P bass pick ups. $450 comes with the original electronics.
or both for 500 pick up Auckland.

Not cheap.

not his iconic bass so why bother?

In other news, somebody silly has loaned me an iconic bass... It'll live in its case, for fear of me tripping over it when drunk.

Have to say Planet Earth has never sounded so good. Fuck those roundwound strings though!

Nice BG.

I have been spending some time on bass, decided to learn how to play when I was stuck in Melbourne. Needed a break from guitar. Back in Melbourne now. Other basses are hidden.....900w Darkglass amp and stack, cause you need that in an apartment.

Apartment overkill, my neighbour in parnell, 20 years ago, hated my headphone volume!

Basses are great, I just don't want the responsibility of this, I know I'll ding it. I'll put it in its case and play my dingers ;)

Fingers are fucking bleeding due to roundwound strings though...

Yep, AO Head. Wasted on me really but sounds nice and easy to use. Darkglass stuff is reasonably priced in Aust compared with NZ. The Sandbergs are great value too, plays great and about 1k less than an American professional p bass in NZ.

the TC Electronics class D Bass amp is pretty good.
