I tried out one of those (albeit with a much nicer paintjob) about 11 years ago and was very impressed with it. Nice sound, great to play etc. I didn't buy it because
a) the name on the headstock was wrong for me and
b) the shape is just - well old smeggers with large pukus look even sillier with bits of a large jigsaw piece hanging from their neck.

Its a pity we allow such aesthetic prejudices to colour our buying choices so much, but that's what marketing is all about. Vive la difference!
