You could have a home theatre comprised of basses.

After 18 years I'm going to have to clean and restring my Precision. The Chromes have pretty much died.
Might restring with LaBella 760FS

Great strings! I have a set of 760M (James Jamerson) which I've swapped from P bass to P bass. Massive strings, but also very high tension. I think the 760FS are much more manageable

I'm just giving them a try out assuming they actually arrive
I have use LaBellas before but can't remember what version
I've got Sadowskys on my MTB which are LaBella made.

The GHS which arrived on the new Tobias are IMO less tension than LaBella and Daddario Chromes. But I can't compare to TI's.

We could all do with a bit less tension I reckon.....

Or if ridiculous tension is your thing, there’s always rotosounds

So I contacted a Bass pickup builder directly and said the proverbial “take my money “. But most a motivated response, is money so last year?

Re: Anyone like bass guitars?
That’s my one!
I love it so much. Sounds grindy and gnarly as hell, which I love because I can always smooth it out with my playing, tone knob, or rolling the bridge pickup in but it’s hard to put it back.
I think it might actually the most perfectly spec’d bass I’ve ever had straight out of the box. I haven’t had to adjust action or string bright or pickup height. The most I’ve done is put strap locks on. Totally unheard of for me.

Re: Anyone like bass guitars?
Anyone have any spare flat wounds that aren’t D’Addario Chromes that they could sell me? I don’t have anything against D’Addarios- just wanted to try something else, and no one seems to have any in stock.
