I’d like to have Jam night 3-4 times a week.

Abandoned any use of a plectrum tonight. Maybe next week.

I’m not normally a judgey kind of guy, except for when I judge bass players for using picks

I like plectrums
I don’t use them much but it’s a cool change of tone.
If I really put the practice in I would like them more

I like playing open chords on bass using a pick with a lot of delay and reverb - letting each note ring out. Suspended chords sound great.

Had a lot of fun with both fingerstyle AND plectrum on Saturday night. Last minute fill-in for an injured player...fortunately, I knew most of the songs on guitar so it wasn't too much to learn in four days.

Probably the loudest I've ever run the Markbass + Origin Bassrig combo. It necessitated earplugs!

I have a 35kg Gallien Kruger combo and that's bad enough! Looking a replacement and weight comes a very close second to tone!

Joys of getting old, or soft. Or both.
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.
