Actually achieved a goal: got myself a new bass amp that does everything I want it to.
Onboard compressor + good direct out, but we don’t stop there.
It has a -10db for active stuff (cricket bat), as well as two voices + a drive channel, and chorus whether I like it or not.
Blackstar unity 30. Need a bass amp? Get one.
Thanks very much to nzrs Dave for the quick hookup.

Sweet. I've been considering a Fender Rumble 40. Now I'm interested in these guys... How loud does the 30 get? I want something for on-stage monitoring with a quiet-ish acoustic band. I always go through the PA. The 60w looks good too.

You’ll be fine with the 30 if you’re using it as a quiet monitor.

Was mentioning Steve B to Molly earlier today, such an all round good genuine bloke.
Nice score SC, Blackstar make some good gear. Once I sell my Marshall I’ll be going to see Dave for a Helix HX.
