wanting a bass to learn on

my friend has just decided he wants to learn bass guitar.trouble is he is not the richest guy i know (hes on the dole)lol. he wants a bass in the range of 150-200 dollars.does anyone have one they want to part with or know of any good deals cheers.

i know it sucks buying stolen gear but at that price stolen is about the only option.

its not his fault he cant get a job hes on sickness benefit

i was hassling cash converters rather than actually suggesting purchasing stolen music gear. when they offer 10c on the dollar, it seems kinda fence like.

your mate should go on the invalids benefit - $45 more a week
its very easy at the mo for sickness bene people to be upgraded to the invalids benifit - its some behind the scenes govt thing - lowering sickness benefit numbers...
