Groove or die is a great one... I have known about him for a long time, not even sure when I first heard about him..Never got to try his guitar.
I had a dream last night, that everything I have got replaced with an exact replica.... (Steven Wright)

Ok... dredge.. sure but ... :o 8) How many of these badboys are kicking around? Used to listed to a fair bit of Kings X in the day... always wondered how to get that Ty sound.... I think it was recorded using natural bathroom acoustics or something... anyway.. that guitar = 8)

Definately one of my top 2 or 3 players
I Love Andy's tone - sort of "hendrixisque" clean but dirty at the same time. He is also a very physically adept player, looking at his right hand technique sometimes it seems to accelerate in an instant and all you see is a blur
Been looking around CD shops etc for Resolution but cant seem to find ANY of his recent recordings in the usual haunts, spent ages looking thru the racks at Real Groovy as well.. anyone know where to get his stuff? (other than on-line)

For those who dont know his sound ... a visit to http://www.mesaboogie.com and you'll hear the title track.

There might only be one or two in NZ. Haven't seen one for a few years at least.

Andy is very cool! He's got great feel and groove.
I remember once showed a guitarist friend of mine his song "
Gone" and he kept saying so when is he gonna start ripping? :)

Fixed your quote there. Nah, Andy seems to be a pretty awesome guitarist, he certainly seems to have great tone. I haven't listened to him all that much, but I don't tend to listen to virtuoso guitarists much anymore. I'm sure he's great.
