My cookery skills.. Balti Chicken, Spiced dry spice fish, veg and mince samosas. the fish curry is probably the best I've ever tasted. And I love fish curry, me.

The albums getting thrashed at my house lately are the Blues Brothers Soundtrack (love that album so much), and The Best of the Original Fleetwood Mac. I bought this Mac CD many years ago and never really got into it, but no idea why. I absolutely love it now. Peter Green is my new guitar hero. I know BG's been harping on about him forever, but man that boy had some tone. Cue the 'should I sell my Strat for a Les Paul' thread - except I've also discovered Rory Gallagher thanks to this forum and love his stuff too. What I love about Rory and Peter Green is the way they throw themselves into their playing with so much passion, and both those guys just had immense tone.

which FM albums are best, before they went all poppy later on ? I have the greatest hits CD but it mainly later stuff I think.

I endorse this thread wholeheartedly. Without Greeny I would never have bought a Les Paul. Check out the Vintage Lemon Drop, it has great Greeny tone straight from the box - its just the faux relicing that puts me off but for 700 bucks its a lot of guitar.

where can you get them for $700 ? they are $900 in RS.

Mr Wonderful and The Pious Bird of Good Omen are my favourites. The latter because it has about 5 different versions of 'Need your love so bad', the one that was released as the single was the worst... It gives you more of an idea how Greeny worked, every take was different he was sheer genius.

I haven't listened to any of the individual albums. I love the vocalist too (Jeremy Spencer?), he has an incredible blues voice.
