Polished voice. The drummer is outstanding.

Hell yeah I haven't found a new band I like in aaaaages especially rock n roll, had been listening to heaps of Radiohead, Wilco etc in terms of modern music. Rival Sons inspired me heaps in the last few weeks.
Here's another band I found which I like, Swedish band called Graveyard - a bit more heavy/stoner but still awesome rock n roll, sort of more AC/DC, Sabbath, Mountain style

They have two albums I've found, both are quite good bourbon drinking music

Civ. (And not so much 'right now' as 'for more than a decade'.)

Re: What are you loving right now?
this shit http://www.melbcruises.clicktix.com.au/ discovered by accident whilst doing some bandcamp shit for my own band, amazing stuff.
It's one guy, he plays all the guitars and bass, and programs the drums, it sounds absolutely fantastic.
The newer album (on the main page) is a bit mellower but everything is free and there's some awesome stuff he does if you're into instrumental proggy post-rock metal stuff.
I'd describe it as meshugga/Mastodon meets Explosions/Godspeed without vocals.

Re: What are you loving right now?
Yeah man, it was mint, they were on early and there was hardly anyone there, so easy for a small guy like me to get a good view from the front.Scooter13 wrote:Age of Winters. I intend to buy the rest of them now.
