You say that like it's a bad thing.
Seriously though, they are a hipster band not all that far removed from the Jonas Brothers. But damn, they can write some catchy songs and rip off all the right people at least (eg that Brian May octuple-tracked guitar intro).

he has been known to stage-dive, that is for sure.
quite like the 'new' Ben Harper cut he looks cool, the band is on and sound vintage, it's got the whole Marvin Gaye thing happening. I like it. Also a Rolling Stones cut I have not heard before on Hauraki (of all places) yesterday.

Gov't Mule - The Deepest End CD/DVD of concert celebrating Allen Woody's life. They played for about 6 hours with various bass guitarists. Great sound and filming, lots of closeups of Warren Haynes guitar, slide etc. Amazing.
Also, for something different - Texas rock n country - Ray Wylie Hubbard, Robert Earl Keen, and for real class Johnny Cash live.

Liking Rooney, pretty catchy with loads of Queen influence!
Here's one act I just found which is definately worth watching. My brother-in-law visited recently from London and said this guy is going off. Playing all the big festivals etc. I suspect he may be a bit of a flash-in-the-pan though it looks like he's been round for a while. What's really important is that dirty as blues is having something of a come back. long live Seasick Steve and the roots of all that we love and enjoy about guitar

Re: What are you loving right now?
I pretty much fell in love with this woman. Shannon Wright.
She's pretty amazing and one of my favourite guitarists.
I have an absurd amount of plays on my last.fm of her in comparison to other musicians/acts/baby.
