Yeah, I was looking at Jennifer Batten's website. Still going, but minus mos of the hair...or should that be HAIR!

The whole fact that this thread exists highlights the fact the women just don't seem to pursue guitar music as a hobby, career, or even out of listening pleasure in most cases... I don't know why that is, but its a shame. I wouldn't rule out the macho-bogan attitude of stations like The Rock as part of the reason, though...

Hmm. Her eyes kind of scare me .... something about them, they're too close, or to small. Gah, I'm fussy.

Someone I rate as having a good voice is Linda Perry, former vocalist for one-hit wonder group 4 Non Blondes (who can forget "What's going on?"). She did some really dark solo stuff around the late 90's, with a whole bunch of Creole soul, blues and jazz musicians, pretty impressive.
She actually writes a lot of pop songs now too, for artists like Pink and so forth.

Occassionally, she looks quite tidy too.

She's got a hell of a voice. I love that song, and her voice and singing are just incredible.

I first saw her on TV playing with Michael Jackson on his "Dangerous" tour. She bloody good. She plays a damn nice tapping intro to the first song on Jeff Beck's "Who Else!" album too 8)

'Comb here my little purple darlink' said Bjork as she beckoned Rog with the index finger of her left hand,'Comb and ve vill tork about your homeland and its many purple wonders'.She saw that Rog had been holding his breath just a little too long and people were noticing.
