I just got back from his first concert here in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia and it pretty okay. Its my first live concert anyways, but i thought it was just average. His first song, Irony, is really well played. You can really hear the iconicity in the melody. Its a very well written piece. And then its followed by some instrumental song covers: Payphone, Somebody That I Used To Know, Phantom of the Opera, Gangnam Style, some G-dragon(?) song and nostalgia followed by one or two of his self-composed song. One of his song, Sorry, was really boring. It was super simple, the melody is plain, the emotion is hardly noticeable, and it was super boring.
Another thing is that he tunes his guitar every single time after he play a song. I have no problem with that, but it sometimes took too long and he doesn't talk to the crowd or try to entertain them while he is tuning it. So it gets awkward sometimes and sorta boring..
A pretty average first concert for me. BTW, here's a song of him
