Hey folks, long time no post - I hope you're all well and staying safe in this mad new world we live in. I've missed the forums a bit, but I've been pretty busy.

I wasn't quite sure if this is the right subforum to share this - if not, admins please feel free to shift me. I'm delighted to share with you all the first taste of my planned debut album - this is a track called "Never Again". It'll be distributed via all the usual services (Spotify, iTunes/Apple Music, Deezer etc.) on November 22nd, and I'm currently in the process of trying to get some play on independent radio stations across the country. I like that...it has great energy. Reminded me of Robert Plant (Mighty Rearranger period). I LOVE the sound of that snare, must have been difficult to carve enough room for that in the mix!

The snare intro reminded me of Zeppelin's 'When the Levee Breaks".

"Levee" was a massive inspiration for the drum sound I was going for and I always loved "Shine It All Around" from Mighty Rearranger so I'm delighted there's any of that kind of mojo going on.

Great song Hamish. I can hear a bit of Black Keys in there too. And agree, that snare sound is epic.

I only just discovered Robert Plant's solo stuff recently and it's so good.

Yes, I could definitely hear that DNA in your song. Which is a Good Thing! That whole album sounds so great. What a band.
