I remember Cruisin’ freaked me out to think it was the same guy as The Monkees…mid 80’s I’m thinking? Cool song.

Edit: was just reading about him on Wikipedia. Didn't realise this: Nesmith's songwriting credits include "Different Drum", which became a hit for Linda Ronstadt and the Stone Poneys.
