I miss my Silver Sky SE, it was such an easy guitar to play, I'd seriously look at selling/trading my LP Special for a USA model Silver Sky.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Crikey, wonder if they'll give him a signature model... as much of a Mayer fanboi as I am PRS just seem too perfect for me though :-(

I've never heard of this guy.

Does anyone want to post their fav clip of him doing what he does?

To be honest, I can't really watch him play. He's far too intense for me. The track that introduced me to him was Alchemy. Search YouTube, lots of videos out there.

Here's a somewhat recent one

I like his playing. Obviously grounded in Hendrix and SRV. That said, I have lately come to feel like I've been listening to the same solo for forty years.

By my calculations, approximately 98.6% of guitar solos are fucking boring.

I've heard Steven Wilson describe a solo as a conversation with the listener and this is why he doesn't get shred guitar: https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/news/ge ... layer.html
