I suppose there's not enough room for "Hello, mate, I'm feeling a tad thirsty at present. Would you be such a dear and fetch me another diet Coke, with a twist of lemon. I say, thanks awfully, old chum." ??

Yeah, the strap has 2 little holes where the elastic attached. You should see the other side of the pamphlet, Bobby Lee claims to have invented the leather guitar strap (blame this guy optimus prime) - and even has a US Patent - in 1948.

Raz suggested I put it on eBay, apparently people collect these old straps so I checked and sure enough  I was going to store it in case I sold the Rebel - case candy is always nice, but if you want I'd consider an offer, pamphlet included :D

BG - how about a 'guess whose strap this is' thread. We could all post our pix to you (or any one person, really) and you (they) could then post them so we wouldn't know whose they were.

First prize for guessing all correct gets bragging rights for a week.

We 'could' limit things to 1 photo per person, but allow multiple straps (say up to 3-4) in that picture.

How well do you know your fellow posters??

Then again - we all know whose will be all goth black... :)

Yep - they have this sort of cellophane on the pups with all sorts of bulldust about the pups - in reality bog standard Korean ones but I actually quite like the sound - the Epiphones LP's used to have the same sort of cellophane on them a few years back.
