It took a bit of getting used to as far as fretting goes.
It puts alot a nice tone.
I bet it pulls nice tone... really like the honeyburst almost looks goldtopish from that pic
I want one
There are always two things that impress me in this thread, the quality of guitars and the setups. This is as close as I get to watching pr0n at work.

my latest acquisition, an old '80s Yamaha 8)

seems to play ok(needs a bit of adjustment but) and the PUp doesnt sound too bad either, and can divebomb further than the Fubar 8)
Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

Anyone have a matching GFV from 1982-1984? I saw one a while back and got distracted and missed the auction. :(

When I first went into a guitar shop in New Plymouth (Axis Music) these things were all the rage, or at least stuff that looked like this. Awesome. I must get something similar at some point.

Must admit that once I got the Gibsons, it was all over for the other electrics. They now just sit in the cupboard gathering dust!

The day I went to get the 2x12 Cab for that head, I was all set on buying a Marshall 2x12 vintage cab, so I had a go on that for a while, and then plugged in the recto cab...I was just blown away. It made the Marshall 2x12 sound like an internal Computer Speaker :D
