yup.. I'd give a review, but I've no idea.. it's a flanger..it flanges... the regen on full makes it unusable unless a space invader sounding oscillation to the expense of the guitar signal is desirable, but 75% or less is usable... haven't really figured the rest out (except speed, which .. well it adjusts the speed).. in the faster zone it has some cool 'dazed and confused' sounding stuff.
I'll bring it to the tronfest and someone else can review it proper :lol:

Lucky.

If it had been "Daza'd and confused" you probably would just have asked questions about it here and never bought it.

Where did you order it from, and what was the cost?

I'm kinda interested in some Joyo stuff since the whole Freekish Blues debacle.

dhgate.. bout US$60 delivered. I can't build it for that price.. had it on order before the FB thing went nuts, but he doesn't do a flanger.. yet ;-)

posted gut shots and semiconductor+cap values on FSB.

true bypass and BBD chips.. it's got $60 worth of parts alone.

FB=Freakish Blues not facebook.
freakish bliues has been busted selling 'boutique' pedals (at boutique prices) which are these Joyo pedals with a cap change or two, the joyo info blackened out (with paint or vivid marker) on the PCB and a repaint. there's also speculation that BBE are involved this situation somehow, but I'm not sure if they're dupers or dupees..

The go is: steer clear of dropping big bucks on a Freekish Blues Alpha Drive (or any FB pedal for that matter). The debarcle is all over FSB and TGP if anyone cares for a bit of light reading. :roll:

Rocky, is this Joyo allegedly based on some classic flanger circuit?
Too many guitars, not enough talent.

current theory on the fsb site is it's an ibanez fl9.

it's not terribly made.. resistors aren't all flat against the body, but they're all through hole tech and double sided board has them soldered right through the hole (will be a b!tch to desolder if I need to, but its quality in that dept.). the only SMT is the daughter board resistors for the LED
9mm pots (instead of 16mm) and they're board mounted. just surprised it's a genuine 3pdt TBP switch..
