Does Eddie have a bit of old rope for a belt or has he tied an onion to it?Capt. Black wrote:BG's abdication from the admin throne and his newfound relaxed moral attitude toward consorting with telecasters, seem oddly reminiscent of old Edward, Duke of Windsor...

Reports please on the Deluxe. I've long been curious about those beasties.

They're great. I'm a wee bit lukewarm about the WRHB pickups but the ones I've played have been outstanding instruments otherwise. I prefer the custom- tele bridge all the way- HG's one is awesome.slowfingers wrote:GOOD BOY!!!!!!!BG wrote:If you can't beat them, join them...Capt. Black wrote:Are you OK BG?![]()

Had my eye on one but decided to go for this instead, I'm thinking of getting some Lollar wide range pups with the proper CuNiFe magnets. May just get a neck first to try.benderissimo wrote:They're great. I'm a wee bit lukewarm about the WRHB pickups but the ones I've played have been outstanding instruments otherwise. Even moar phwoar then. I love the giant headstock on the Deluxe. The Ash Benderbucker should be in a state that you can check out some time in the near future. It has a home (or at least will soon) but I'm sure Ash could do it again for you if you like it. I've always intended to see if I could put a Fender WRHB cover on it to restore the look of it. I reckon the Lollars will be awesome though. I've tried an original and it was very, very cool.BG wrote: Had my eye on one but decided to go for this instead, I'm thinking of getting some Lollar wide range pups with the proper CuNiFe magnets. As for Lollars, you know I'm a shameless fanboi.
