Far out! Awesomely large - and there in lies the dilemma for me. I want moar pedals, less size. That paradigm is impossible until someone invents a Tardis pedalbaord.

HD500. Does everything you could ever want and if you can get over the non-boutiqueyness of it you're sorted :)

it is just small enough for a single person lift in and out of the car. It has wheels in the case so can be rolled about. You could probably do it all with multi effects but I could never go there.

Haven't we been here before? M13 is better for those who don't want the extra shit because it has a better pedalboard interface (easier to use), or am I missing something?
Ok I got rid of my Foal quote, but I found a new one.

no no... not missing anything, started off as a couple of cheap digs, then stopped because we don't need to have that discussion again.

Wheels on the case! That is awesome. Did you get it built / make it yourself / ordered off the shelf?

No more so than anyone who thinks that an HD500 can replace an awesome board of single pedal units, for those who actually enjoy single units. The uniqueness of standalone units is a seriously fun thing to put together, as opposed to one box of tricks that are copies of individual units. I know there's heaps of guys on here that are using the Line6 units, and enjoying them, but for those of us that prefer having unique and individual sounding units, the Line6 stuff holds no interest.

I'm really anti gear snobbery and cork sniffing, and really hate the hype that surrounds a lot of so called boutique stuff, but the fun of building a setup includes the elements of individual pedals interacting with one another.

Pedaltrains, or at least the big ones, have wheels on them too.

I'm interested to know what brand that big board is, I think the closest I've seen in size would be the big powered Warwick board.

Mmmm I used to enjoy the uniqueness of noisy, overpriced, and unmanageable pedals too

Yep, it's pretty tough operating a pedal with at least one, sometimes two buttons.
