Firstly, the cab is something a few of you will recognise as being owned previously by a couple of forum members here. It's an Ulbrick 4x12 with V30's which I kinda fell for whilst having my amp retubed at Ryan's shop (which I recommend to anyone) a couple of weeks back. I'd been kinda keen on going back to a warmer, more forward sounding cab as my older Mesa cab was getting a tad lost in the mix with my loud bassist/guitarist's rigs.
Ended up comparing this cab to a Splawn and Bogner cab, which I would thoroughly recommend for heavier styles but I found the Ulbrick has a fuller feel to with lots of nice mids, relaxed highs and a firm but not booming bass end. Just sounds very musical and punchy, and matched my amp well. I play in a mix of bands from ska-pop/alt country to post hardcore and this cab was the only one that seemed to match them all.

Also picked up this Ibanez AXS-32, which was a mid-level model made in the early-mid 00's. I had always been keen on them due to the double cutaway, string through body and easy neck, but the retail prices were a bit pricey. Got this one off TM which I found was belonging to the guitarist in Aucks band New Way Home, which is one of my fave bands in the metal/hardcore scene. Nice bit of history there. Stock pickups have been replaced with Ibanez V7 & V8's which aren't bad, but considering something ridiculously high gain for the hell of it. Have also removed the tacky pickguard which improves the look overall.
Though the last of fret markers would hinder me, but I've realised I use the markers on the edge of fretboard more when playing, and if anything, it's a good push to improve on singing/playing at the same time. Quite an underated little guitar if I do say so, may just need better tuners/pickups but pretty good piece of wood overall.

Gat and cab sound pretty huge in conjuction with my K100 head.
