Belated NGD - the Wolfpack is growing
I've had this for maybe a month or two now, but with all the rush in packing up and relocating, I never got around to getting some good photos of it.
Wolfgang #2! I wanted a more flashy looking one, and I also wanted to hear what a maple topped one sounded like (the black ones are 100% basswood body, while the trans finishes have a LP style maple cap). Got this in from the States at a decent price. It has what looks like a factory repair on the back of the neck (you can see it if you squint, it's a narrow strip of wood that was plugged in), which ends up meaning that the neck is a little thinner and a little faster than a normal Wolfgang, which is cool if the small, clubby neck isn't your thing.
Anyway, enough words... now for some pics:

I went around scouting for new locations to take guitar photos as unfortunately my new digs in Auckland are not really conducive to good pics, so I went to a local park to try out some ideas! Check them out and tell me which one you like best...

Yep still got the black special. I don't imagine I'd ever part with it. Unless an even better wolf came along...Vince wrote:Some Bozo wrote:I likes me a good wolf

Very very nice. And it has the drop D lever thingee, very handy indeed.
Edit: oh yes I see, that is Jellicoe Park isn't it?

Haha, maybe! If you see a guy walking around with a guitar stand taking photos on the weekend... that'll probably be me.

Haha, how does everyone seem to randomly know this park? It's not that big, and didn't seem overly popular when I was there mid morning.

Next time I take the kids down there for a swimming lessons, I'll be looking for a guitar sticking out of the garden.
