Re: Show Us Your Guitar
I managed to find a replacement several months ago for the LP Classic I gave my nephew. The Partscaster did not really agree with me, although I still have it (in parts).
This is a Guitar Center exclusive SG Standard with coil splitting. It has Burstbucker 1 and 3 pups. It had a few scrapes that meant the price was low. I have manged to sand and buff most of them out. It was set up for slide, so i have adjusted the action nice and low and tilted the pups so they run parallel. Landed it for just under $1k NZD including shipping. Now that I have stopped trying to make it be a Les Paul, i am loving it. It seems to be a very different beast to regular SG Standards in the shops. It does not feel so flimsy and cheap. Considering pup covers for it. I like zebras on LPs, not so sure with SGs.

AR, that is a nice SG...and like the Zebras on it...first I've seen. And yes, nice to hear from you.

Re: Show Us Your Guitar
Had some free time this weekend...so...
bought these

dismantled the hardware and electronics of my guitar
what the heck, lets try to some used aluminum foils from the chicken wrapper
after putting everything back together
it sounded good plus its less noisy
