I just got this Rivera Clubster 45!
I'm totally stoked with it - half the weight of my Fender "The Twin" and it sounds great.

Just curious what speaker did they put in it? I think I read somewhere there was some great mods for it, can't recall what they were..

Looks like I might have been thinking of a different model about the mod... But, if you get the chance try cabs with different speakers... it gets interesting, I have one cab with the Scumback BM75 LD, one with GT75's, one with V30's... I have a KR7, gets interesting with each different cab.. I tried a cab Willow had as well but can't recall what speakers it had...

I have a 200 watt Celestion PA cab with a BX12-2560 driver plus a horn & tweeter and the amp sounds huge with that plugged in.Tonemaker wrote:Looks like I might have been thinking of a different model about the mod... I bought this amp to mostly play at church so unless a different speaker drops in my lap, I will stay with the original speaker.

Re: NAD - Rivera Clubster 45
they were the HH speakers that single coil ended up with ..... the kR7 sounded awesome through it, i think the combo of the darker amp with the bright speakers was a winnerTonemaker wrote:I tried a cab Willow had as well but can't recall what speakers it had...
