Its one of the Fender special run strats. Ash body with a hand rubbed red finish, so theres no real lacquer over it. It was the one that really sang out when I played it unplugged. Put in a Dimarzio Injector bridge, 67 middle and 51 neck, sounds great. This photo shows up the grain a bit better.TmcB wrote:Love that Strat, tell us about it.

Its just a stain thats been rubbed into the ash. I got it wet once and the stain started to run off a bit so wouldnt wanna spill too much beer on itAiRdAd wrote:

Cheers! I like things neat. The EQ is a Pultec style built by the BBC for Radio NZ back in the 60's. Much mojo! Pretty standard stuff in the lunchbox but have all the right flavours.

I finally got all the electric stuff into one room.
Included is an AD30 that has taken up residence at my house.
Obscured items include home made Mahogany bread board, Alron 4x12, custom made vintage 1x12, Holden Wasp head, 1998 AC30 TB/6x, Vox AC1 and Holden Reverb 100.
Edit: 4 Acoustics and a Uke, not pictured...
