NED

Post by sopachrga »

New Endorsement Day!
So today my new AxeFX based tour rig arrived all thanks to Independent Music NZ and Fractal Audio.

Image

Really thrilled with how it sounds and looking forwards to being able to take my sound with me rather than hiring amps when out of town.
Must point out too, that Andrew from Independent Music is a top guy.

Enough typing, I'm going back to playing.

Fantastic!

Free gear. Closest I ever got to that was when I inadvertently kept a plec after trying-out a guitar.

Guess you might as well get rid of that Mk.V now. I'll take it off your hands :-)

Not free, the days of free gear are long gone unless you are a superstar. Just very very cheap.

I'm hanging on to the mark v for a while yet. But who knows.

Man, I should have bought one years ago. I'm so tired this morning though, was up till about 2am playing.
There is so many inspiring tones in there, it's been a while since I have been so excited by a bit of gear.

Yeah I spent a couple of hours with my buddy Neil's one when I was up in wellington for Mogwai, sounds bloody brilliant! But too much mumbo jumbo for me, I'd end up using a tiny subset of what it can do :(

Well done Mark, you deserve the endorsement. It'll be interesting to see how it develops or locks in your sound.

Looking forward to the next gear fest. Also please hurry up and get shut of the Mk V before I have to do something stupid ;)

Thanks guys. I'm away visiting family this weekend. So I've still only had one night to play with it. But even in that short time I managed to get my main rhythm tone pretty much sorted out and sounding almost identical to my mark v.

Just waiting for my Matrix power amp to turn up now then I'm all sorted to use it live.
