They cover all the gigs I'm likely to get. Out of picture is 3 keyboards and more amp.

That is bonkers - the Casio... with the Superbass... you're blowing my mind dude. I love it, but that is mad as a mongoose...

Does the casio have real strings? I'm having a vague 80s flashback of ones with weird rubber things for fretting and short little strings for the right hand...

If you're ever thinking of selling the amp or the phaser, let me know!

Hi Darth, I think you may be remembering the You Rock YRG1 guitar, which I also have and use with this rig. It has raised rubber lines on the fretbaord, and the short set of strings, and is a bit more responsive than the casio. The casio has rubber strings all the way through, with velocity kind of sensors under the bridge, but sensors in the fretboard to know what note is played. Standard midi out into whatever midi box you have. Then its analogue all the way.

(If you play in the Black sabbath band, I play bass in another band with Steve and Hugh)
I'm going to do a youtube demo of the rig soon....

I had a DG-20 for a while, lots of fun. I lent it to someone around 20 years ago and never got it back. Never plugged it into a superbass though....

Yeah that might be it. Guitar synth's of the 80s... weird...

Not my bag, but yeah, love the mix of ancient technologies. Look forward to the demo!

And yeah, I do play with Steve and Hugh! Nice chaps.

My actual amp set:
VOX NIGHT TRAIN 50 HEAD (SELF MODDED, EL34's TRIODE CONNECTED)
ASAR V12 LEGEND, 1x12 CLOSED CABINET (EMINENCE V12 LEGEND SPEAKER, 8 OHM)

Now I am realizing the Voyager X project (now in experimental form), which will be a tube head single-ended output stage with a two-channel preamplifier. The power tube will be a 6550 interchangeable with a 300B, a DHT having the same power as the 6550, but having a more immersive sound. In the pictures you can see my speaker cabinet and the power amplifier, now I will have to realize the preamp...
