Re: NGD: metal neck LP
you guys should make one, or two or a few. EGC say they don't sell the necks any longer.
we could lead the world in replacement aluminum necks. NZ MADE!!!!

There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

Re: NGD: metal neck LP
They stopped for a year or 2 but started making them again this year. The price on a full build has raised a lot, it starts at US$2200 when I ordered mine but now it starts at US$2900-3000. Which has put many people permanently out of the market for one. My build costed me US$2400 back then but the same specs would cost like US$3600 now.mrmofo wrote:you guys should make one, or two or a few. EGC say they don't sell the necks any longer.

So there's probably a bigger market for these US$750 necks now, apparently they can do 65 necks a month currently alongside full builds. Must've expanded their operation a bit.
I also got a neck built by another maker named Bastin a while ago. He charges a bit less but he isn't doing much at the moment:
