NSGD - Up for sale
New SG day!
Been craving something different to my strat for a while. Different recording flavours and a reason to play differently to how i usually play my gear.
2010 SG Special. My first step into the Gibson world. Better than i expected it to be. Apologies for the dark photo, it didnt come out too well.
EDIT - Guitar and i did not bond. Now up for sale.

An SG is fait accompli to be good, unless it doesn't hold tune or set up sloppy.LucyTheSpud wrote:Thanks!Frey wrote:nice!

(Unless maybe some of the imposters, but they’re not real so don’t count...)

That a John Birch? Had a DC of his once.Darth Sabbathi wrote:Darth abides.
Edit. It's a John Diggins (JD). He made Mark King's basses.

Re: NSGD
I had John Birch build me a custom SG in 71. Had a Strat trem fitted so extra thick body, maple board , 24 fret, stereo electrics. Worst neck dive imaginable and heavy as fuck. Ended up practically giving it away to a shop down Charing Cross road. Never commissioned a build since.Molly wrote:That a John Birch? Had a DC of his once.Darth Sabbathi wrote:Darth abides.

Re: NSGD - Up for sale
Well. Didnt last long.
Anyone wanna buy? Offers around 1k with the Gator molded abs case. I got it for $1050 and its done nothing since i got it.
After getting it, restring, setup and a bit of a play, realised its really not my thing. Im a Strat guy through and through.
Will also trade with cash either way for a nice HW Vox AC15 or Fender 68 DRRI...

I had a Strat made by him. It was awesome. Had a through neck, just like his basses. Wish I had kept it

Re: NSGD
No, it was a very traditional looking Strat, except for the through neck. He only made a handful like that.Molly wrote:Would that be the JD Hooligan?olegmcnoleg wrote:Yes, the great John Diggins, or JaydeeMolly wrote:

At one point I called him up to ask for details, he's a really helpful bloke.
