Re: Show Us Your Guitar
Ah the guitar that was inspired by a certain top hat wearing guitarist... or however BC Rich try to say 'Hey look, Slash used one in one video, therefore he endorses it! But we can't say that because Gibson will sue us over their exclusive endorsement deal with Slash. Again.'
Great guitar though, I definitely want one and must be a beast with the nailbomb in it.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll spend thousands on fishing equipment he'll use for a bit, then get bored and move onto something else.

Heh that's funny. But to be fair, Slash has actually used his quite a lot live, and while in VR I saw him use a Bich for a few songs too.
Yup it's quite beastly with the Nailbombs, and the controls are surprisingly useful - I'm really liking the phase switch. Varitone however at the moment I can only tell the difference between on and off, not the other 4 positions

Actually I noticed he used one when I saw VR live as well, but mentioning that kind of ruined my own joke...slash-ed wrote:Heh that's funny. But to be fair, Slash has actually used his quite a lot live, and while in VR I saw him use a Bich for a few songs too.

How's the guitar play? Really impressed with my Gunslinger, have quite a fondness for BC Rich products now.

That's a really nice guitar Ed, and it looks brilliant in the natural sunlight.
Re: the last three or four times I've seen him play live he's always played a mocking bird, and from memory usually for the first song of the set. He's also played a Bitch the last two times as well.

Yeah pretty good, could do with a change of strings from war-wolf's fat strings to my sissy 9-42sDanger Mouse wrote:Actually I noticed he used one when I saw VR live as well, but mentioning that kind of ruined my own joke...slash-ed wrote:Heh that's funny. But otherwise I'm pretty damn impressed. For roughly the same pricepoint it feels much less plasticky than the Exotic Classic Mockingbird I played down in Chch RS last year.

Re: Show Us Your Guitar
Man those guitars are nice in a weird chunky neck sort of way. The only problem for me was that the pickups et all sounded really bassy and weird. Perhaps also to do with the shape of the guitar? Love the look, so so cool

Re: Show Us Your Guitar
Swoop, damn nice looking guitar, reminds me of Oasis ('Gig By The Sea' DVD.)
Is it fully hollow, or a semi-hollow guitar?
