Pedaltrain Nano - Line 6 M5 - Line 6 G50

M5 has a global noise gate and tuner which I'm quite comfortable with on the HD500, and this way I can use the tube screamer effect to dirty up my tone a wee bit.
now that's my kinda pedal board :thumbup:

Visiting this thread has made me realise my OCD is really really bad. I see all these cool pedals placed at different angles to each other and of different sizes and colours and it does my head in :oops:

I now know that I need to get ryan to build me a ryanmat of awesomeness (ROA from here on in) that has built in chorus/phaser/delay and noise gate :shock: :? .....so the switches at my feet are all housed in the same box and all look very similar :lolno: ....... :lol:

Long time coming, for me at least. Rightclick and open image if your browser cuts it off.

Signal chain is tuner - LaVache - comp - phaser - delay. I don't use the overdrive and compressor at the same time, so that's never a problem. Not a lot there, but it has everything I need :)

Pretty good, actually.

Dad (who has no working knowledge of pedals, pretty much) asked for that sea of notes thing. I ask, what on earth is that? You know, that thing where it keeps playing while you're playing. Oh, the delay? Yeah, that.

I'm just using it for strumming mostly, but it works well.

"that sea of notes thing"

Love it!

Larrivee 00 Acoustic. FAV Strat for electric. Ibanez SDGR5 for bass. Push for Ableton. When not doing that, 3D CAD for tunnels...

Yeah I'd say mine a pretty good too, but super touchy. As in sensitive to the knobs being mms out.
Not a leave it on the floor and go for broke kind of thing, at least mine.
Is yours 9vlt?

Yep, v3205 nine volt. On the one hand, it doesn't have MN3005 unobtanium mojo. On the other, it works with every standardised pedal power supply on the planet.

Latest pedal config...well this weeks. I play guitar and keyboard in 2 covers bands so need 1 board for both.

Image

As I use an Adrenalinn 3 for guitar tones and I use a Laney KB165 keyboard amp mostly. The signal flow is:

Option 1
Italia Mondial Piezo - Aphex punch factory->Aphex Acoustic Exicter-> Boss LS2->POG2->SD Booster->Yamaha Magic Stomp->Vol Ped->Laney
Italia Mondial Mag - Adrenalinn 3->Boss LS2->POG2->SD Booster->Yamaha Magic Stomp->Vol Ped->Laney
Keys - Nord electro rack 2 or Novation KS5 (via switch box)-Boss LS2->POG2->SD Booster->Yamaha Magic Stomp->Vol Ped->Laney
These can be used at the same time for blended tones either on board the guitar or mixed at the LS 2 seperately

Option 2
G&L tribute tele - Adrenalinn 3->Boss LS2->POG2->SD Booster->Yamaha Magic Stomp->Vol Ped->Laney
Keys - Nord electro rack 2 or Novation KS5 (via switch box)-Boss LS2->POG2->SD Booster->Yamaha Magic Stomp->Vol Ped->Laney

Currently working on a switching and mixing option to include my iPad as a source also.

I have other amps that I use also, depending on how I feel.

New board (ply) and a couple of new pedals. This is as big as I want my board to be. I love the DLS and La Vache and the Pikelet (hotcake) makes a great boost but I might shunt one in favour of a little delay I've got stashed away.
Image

The Chi-Wah-Wah sounds cool but the way the action works means I really need to non-slipify the board. I want to find some rubber feet that are attached using screws rather than adhesive.

Nice Ben - small and convenient.

I also use a a small one like this for covers (with the M9 to cover off modulations and reverbs/delays). A big monster midi controlled thing for originals. I will post pics when done.
