Like when someone smashes their red Corolla's door in and they can only get a blue one from the wreckers?slash-ed wrote:I didn't used to like the black humbucker thing but I get it now and dig it. How can I be sure I'm here?

I should also say, I dig the hell outta this guitar!Kiwiaxe wrote:I agree with Ed re pickups
As far as the headstock goes - Suhr, Tom Anderson and Xotic headstocks all look very similar. I’m guessing boo-teek builders are comfortable with it. I quite like it (certainly more than I like fender’s)

really nice grain. would like to play A+

There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

You can tell just by looking at it that it's neither quarter sawn nor bird's eye.

the grain looks odd to me, just searching for what makes it look the way it is.
arrogance much?

What's with all the aggression? I think you're over-reacting rather. The grain is plain cut - you can see the cut going evenly through the growth rings. Quarter sawn gives you end grain, the growth rings runs vertically. And bird's eye maple has little dots, like bird's eyes, in it. Your eyes give the answers.
