PR Jr got ditched for a Novo - allows two rows of pedals with a bypass switcher. Cioks Switchmode power supply upgrade (I’m calling it, the new Cioks “Future Power Generation” are the best out there - head an shoulders above any toroidal - you can sit a Wah on them with no emf noise) - and all voltages available at every outlet. And wiring done properly for once.

Reminds me of my NZ Post days as a technician in the telephone exchanges where all the bundles of cables were neatly laced with waxed string! Some as thick as your thigh!

What model Timmy is that? The bass and gain knobs are the wrong way round.

Where have yoou got the switch set? I confess I use all 3 settings on mine regularly.
Had to open her up to look - one up, one down, so asymmetrical. Makes sense - I much prefer the SD1 clipping over say a TS. That said, kind of moot as I mainly use it for a slight clean boost and bass cut into a JTM45.
As an aside, when did these get so expensive - no way it’s worth the used prices out there.

That makes sense. Asymmetrical is up on my switch. I think of that as a Marshall flavour. Down is Tweed flavour and the middle gives OD boost ; like a big ballad solo tone.
That's how I think of it anyway.
Supply and demand I guess. Though MXR make them now so they shouldn't be hard to find anymore.
But ours are Cochrane originals
I replaced all my ODs with a King of Tone clone. 3 days later, Timmy joined it. Great pedal!

I have gone through a fair few OD pedals, but the Timmy remains a constant on my board. It just does what it does soooo well.
Found a pic of my first serious “gigging board” circa early 2000’s.
Daisy chain for the 9v. Under the midi footswitch is a TC G-Major. Everything running into the front of whatever amp I had at the time (that’s right, rack output into guitar input ). Cluster f*ck of wallwarts sitting right next to the wireless unit. I think the DI was there to break one of many ground loops - but then again, maybe not.
Took me ages to realise the way I had it set up was a complete pile of shite.
