Sounds like you haven't been to church for a while! Nowaday's it's smoke machines, lighting rigs, big screens, wah pedals, and two handed tapping (sometimes).

Thats entirely true, but then I was raised in a roman catholic church, even today they don't get into the whole fireworks and rock music entertainment thing like the modern born again christian churches do, no offence meant btw, I guess its what keeps the young people interested, certainly nothing about traditional churches thats so exciting!

I think it's cheating. Church should be about sore knees, solemness and weird smells.

I'd say some of our stuff is a bit faster and harder than that...I am trying to learn some of the songs and to me some of them are fairly hard...of course being hard of hearing does create big problems...
