Sounds like you haven't been to church for a while! Nowaday's it's smoke machines, lighting rigs, big screens, wah pedals, and two handed tapping (sometimes).
Thats entirely true, but then I was raised in a roman catholic church, even today they don't get into the whole fireworks and rock music entertainment thing like the modern born again christian churches do, no offence meant btw, I guess its what keeps the young people interested, certainly nothing about traditional churches thats so exciting!

I think it's cheating. Church should be about sore knees, solemness and weird smells.

Anyway, isn't it less like Van Halen turning up and more like U2 turning up and playing the riff to 'bad' for several hours straight?

I'd say some of our stuff is a bit faster and harder than that...I am trying to learn some of the songs and to me some of them are fairly hard...of course being hard of hearing does create big problems... :(

I rekon we should kick it up a notch...like this...I think this band is pretty awesome..

damn. wish i still had the sdd3000 now... The timefactor is close, but something about the sdd and the fullness of the repeats is just magic under the fingers :(

I like lots of tones, but AC30 and a modulation delay is just killer in my books.

I thought all churches were like the ones on the Blues Brothers movies..
