Re: Show us your pedalboard
and so it begins......the stupidly insane "why the fek am i doing this to myself" pedal board of doom build.....
here are the pedals, sans a Rocky built op-amp muff clone whose enclosure was drying in the sun after a paint job at the time of this pic and the crown jewel, a strymon timeline, when at last they are shipping!
and here is the board - its a trailer trash 36". big, heavy and red lol
actually, its only heavy because of the flight case....but im going to at some stage get the lads at live sound to build one, hopefully lighter and with wheels.
Ryan doesnt know it yet but im gonna be hitting him up for a couple of Lava Cable kits to patch it all up nice and i may ask if he would be able to assist in doing some of the wiring under the board and lend a hand with some pedal order and buffer questions i have.
at the moment im just using the m9 at band practice but im chomping at the bit to have all old pedals on a functioning board again.
more pics as progress continues and when timeline arrives

will all those fit on there? whats the width of the board? (mines 100 x 40cm and fits 14 pedals, okay a couple of the pedals may be the size of some peoples whole boards....)

Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

they should fit, but i think the m9 kick the phase 100, ph2 and fl9 off the board. 92cm wide and 46cm high.

Insanely awesome. That's a whole lot of pitch shifting you got going on there too! (Jealous!)Kloppsta wrote:haha yeah...insane is the word!!!Ironbird13 wrote: thats goona be an insane board (and my bandmates reckon mines mad )

Re: Show us your pedalboard
cheers yeah im not sure if im totally sold on the ps6....its awesome for doing those queen style harmonies and what not but i havent really found a use for it in the stuff i play. i use it for one riff but its not really being used in the normal way so i may see if i can replicate the sound with the m9 and then think about flicking the ps6 for something else (here we go again)hamo wrote:Insanely awesome. Re: Show us your pedalboard
How do you find it compares to the Digitech Whammy? I've been watching a few PS-6 demos on YouTube and think it looks like a heap of fun, but was wondering which is the better option? I see an OC-3 (or OC-2?) in there as well. What do you use each of those three pedals for? What was the rationale behind grabbing all three? Sorry if that's a bit of a grilling, but I've got a bit of a things for pitch shifting at the moment, but being me I'd have to pick one rather than grab all three.Kloppsta wrote:cheers yeah im not sure if im totally sold on the ps6....its awesome for doing those queen style harmonies and what not but i havent really found a use for it in the stuff i play. i use it for one riff but its not really being used in the normal way so i may see if i can replicate the sound with the m9 and then think about flicking the ps6 for something else (here we go again)hamo wrote:Insanely awesome.
