They all look like Ibanez's to me, and all those Ibanez's all look exactly the same to me. I'm sure they're very nice guitars, they just all look absolutely identical, as if someone photocopied the same guitar a billion times back when Ibanez designed the shape and just changed the model number on the headstock.

Hope you're having lots of fun with it!

sorry for the bump but this needs some explications....

We work on orders (us, the guitar makers), 99% of our customers either want a superstrat shape or a tele shape...............

Being creative is very cool but this requires money and time in order to create a model just for fun...

In most cases if we build something original it will simply not sell because its too specific and usually customers come to you because they want something specific which you are known for... (ss or tele shapes)

Blackmachine are gorgeous guitars which are also handmade by an individual man just like my creations.

I have a few customers who also have a blackmachine and I also got to personaly test an 8 string blackmachine which belongs to Clive Jevons and which sounds and plays fantastic just like any top notch handmade guitars...

BTW that guitar on the first post is very cool and looks gorgeous, congratulations !
But to be honest, I dont see how it compares esthetically to a blackmachine apart from the shape...

hey hang on there.. building, designing and repairing/modifying stringed instruments for a living does not make one a luth.. oh.. wait.. as you were...

:) Shape being a primary aesthetic in my laymans book anyway. It wasn't an attempt to clone a black machine if thats the impression you got, dope gat tho.
